Samsung has recently launched a trio of Galaxy A series smartphones in India. The smartphones include Galaxy A10, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30. The Galaxy A40 was recently spotted on the company’s official UK website and this has also paid a visit to Geekbench in the past. With the FCC clearance in tow, it comes to notice that the Samsung Galaxy A40 will be launched very soon.
Samsung A40- Features
The Samsung Galaxy A40’s model number on the FCC database is spotted as SMA405FN. As per the documents of FCC, the upcoming Samsung phone will pack a 5.7-inch display and will support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
This phone is rumored to come equipped with the Exynos 7885 SoC that is coupled with 4GB RAM. The phone is also tipped to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and also a ToF 3D sensor.
The certification also reveals that the phone measures 144.3×69.1 mm. On the connectivity front, the FCC certification reveals the phone will come with support for dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
It is also rumored that the phone could be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to have a dedicated microSD slot for additional storage up to 512 GB.
It is said that the phone will also come with an AMOLED panel and possible Infinity-U waterdrop display. An earlier Geekbench has stated that Galaxy A40 will be powered by an Exynos 7885 chipset that is paired with 4GB of RAM and this will ship with Android Pie-based One UI.
Samsung Galaxy A40- Price in India
As per the leak, Samsung Galaxy A40 will be priced at EUR 249 (approx. Rs. 20,000) and will be launched in India and a host of European countries.
